Sue Perez captures the dynamic colors and details in her animal, landscape and portrait color pencil drawings. Her art intermingles the beauty found in nature with the designs inspired by her youth. Utilizing five to seven layers of color pencil, she transforms nature's ecosystem into an exquisite place.

Currently showing at the North Platte’s Prairie Art Center, she occasionally exhibits at various other galleries around the country and has an 20 year presence online. Her self taught artistic journey began in 2000 after a devastating tornado laid waste to Sue’s former life. Upon deep self reflection a new passion in drawing commenced.
